David and Emma Moat are experienced practitioners in the field of counselling and psychotherapy. As well as his general psychotherapy and hypnotherapy practice, David has over 30 years experience of working with people on the autism spectrum. Emma offers Play Therapy in addition to her general counselling practice.
David studied Integrative Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy with the prestigious SACH International, under Professor Jure Biechonski, and holds a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapy and Cognitive Hypnotherapy, as well as a Diploma in Transactional Hypno-Analysis. He is a member of both the General Hypnotherapy Register (holding the Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice), and the NACHP (National Association of Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists). He can offer supervision services to other counsellors and therapists.
Emma is a qualified Play Therapist (PTUKDip), and holds an AQA L4 Certificate in Counselling. She has extensive experience of teaching counselling courses in the UK and abroad.
